Regular Maintenance

Once a week, vacuum in the direction of the pile and occasionally, turn the rug over and vacuum the back of the rug, to displace any grit that might have fallen through.

Occasionally, wipe the surface of the carpet with a damp cloth dipped in cold water. Do not rub or scrub. Gently, dab rather than rub the nap of the rug.

Treat animal accidents and spills as quickly as possible. Absorb as much of the spill as you can with a clean dry cloth or paper towels. Re-wet the spill area with cold, carbonated water and absorb the water by gently pressing with more paper towels. Repeat if necessary. If the stain persists, try a drop of Dawn on the tip of a toothbrush and dab (don’t scrub!) on the spill area. Re-wet again with carbonated water and dab to absorb the extra moisture. Slightly elevate the spill area of the rug to provide better air circulation and quicker drying
